- Tech was able to start vehicle ok when first trying to pull into shop. After inside vehicle did not want to start. Scan computer to find no codes present. Key fob with Subaru emblem doesnt light sometimes & intermittently doesnt work. Other key fob seems to operate door locks ok but still doesnt always allow vehicle to start with first try. Still shows key not detected & will not start. Then finally acknowledges key & vehicle starts. Seems to be communication issue from key fob to vehicle module for starting. Unable to confirm fault with our scanner. May need to have dealer scanner for further testing. Advised customer of our findings.
